MyClint Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
1. Who We Are
MyClint is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) client intake platform operated by Creanomapps S.A.S., an Ecuadorian company based in Paute, Azuay, Ecuador ("Creanomapps", "we", "us", or "our"). MyClint allows freelancers and agencies to create client intake portals through which their clients can submit information, answers, files and other content.
This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you create or use a MyClint account, visit or use our website, or complete an intake portal created by a MyClint customer.

2. Roles Under Data Protection Law
Depending on the activity, Creanomapps may act as the controller/responsible party for personal data that we process for our own business purposes, or as a processor/encargado when a MyClint customer determines the purposes and essential means of processing personal data submitted through that customer's intake portal.
For example, Creanomapps is responsible for processing account, billing, support and security information needed to operate MyClint. A freelancer or agency using MyClint is generally responsible for determining why it collects personal information from its own clients through its portals and for providing any notices or obtaining any consents required by applicable law. In those circumstances, MyClint processes that portal information on the customer's instructions and for the purpose of providing the service.
If you complete a MyClint intake portal, the freelancer or agency that sent you the portal link should normally be your first contact for questions about why your information was collected or how that customer uses it.
3. Personal Data We Collect
We may process the following categories of personal data, depending on how you use MyClint:
- Account data: name, email address, authentication information and account-related settings.
- Portal configuration data: questions, labels, branding and other information configured by a MyClint customer.
- Intake content: answers, documents, images, files and other information submitted by a client through an intake portal. The content may contain personal data determined by the MyClint customer.
- Billing data: subscription status, transaction identifiers and payment-related metadata. Payment card details are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not stored by MyClint.
- Technical and usage data: IP address or other technical identifiers where collected, timestamps, portal events, device/browser information, error reports and security logs reasonably required to operate and protect the service.
- Communications: information you provide when contacting us for support or other inquiries.
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data for ordinary MyClint use. Customers must not use MyClint to collect sensitive or highly protected information unless the collection and processing are lawful and the customer has appropriate safeguards in place.
4. Sources of Personal Data
We may receive personal data directly from you, automatically from your device or use of the service, from the MyClint customer who creates an intake portal, or from service providers that process information on our behalf. When you complete an intake portal, the information you submit is normally provided directly to the MyClint customer who created that portal, with MyClint providing the technical service used to collect and store it.
5. Purposes and Legal Bases
We process personal data only for purposes connected with operating, securing and improving MyClint and managing our business. Depending on the circumstances and applicable Ecuadorian law, the relevant legal basis may include:
- Performance of a contract or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, including creating an account and providing the MyClint service.
- Compliance with legal obligations, including applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or regulatory requirements.
- Consent, where applicable law requires or permits consent for a particular processing activity.
- A legitimate or otherwise legally recognized interest, where permitted by applicable law, including service security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and protection of our rights.
- Processing on behalf of a MyClint customer, where that customer is the responsible party/controller for the relevant intake data.
We do not sell personal data and do not use client intake content for targeted advertising.
6. How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to:
- create and secure accounts;
- provide, maintain and operate MyClint;
- host and deliver intake portals and submitted content;
- send transactional, reminder and notification emails;
- process subscriptions and manage billing;
- provide customer support;
- detect, prevent and investigate security incidents, fraud, abuse and unauthorized access;
- maintain technical logs and troubleshoot errors;
- comply with legal obligations;
- communicate important service, security or legal updates; and
- improve the reliability and functionality of MyClint in ways consistent with applicable law.
We do not use client intake content for advertising.
7. Service Providers and Third Parties
We use selected third-party service providers to operate MyClint, including providers of cloud infrastructure, databases and storage, email delivery, authentication and payment processing. Depending on the services enabled at a particular time, these providers may process personal data on our behalf or in their own capacity as described in their applicable terms and privacy policies.
We seek to use providers that provide appropriate safeguards for the information they process. Where a provider processes data on our behalf, we require processing to be limited to the purposes necessary to provide the relevant service, subject to applicable law and contractual arrangements.
Where you purchase a MyClint subscription through Whop, payment processing is provided through Whop and its financial/payment partners. Whop's own terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment-platform relationship.
8. International Transfers
Some service providers used by MyClint may process or store personal data outside Ecuador. Where personal data is transferred or communicated internationally, Creanomapps will apply the requirements and safeguards required by applicable Ecuadorian data-protection law.
Because our technology providers may change as the service develops, the exact location of processing may vary. We will not use international transfers as a basis for avoiding applicable data-protection obligations.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the service, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and maintain appropriate security records.
Portal content is generally retained while the relevant MyClint account or portal remains active, unless the customer deletes it earlier. When a customer deletes a portal, its responses and uploaded files are deleted from the active service, subject to technical backups, security records or legal retention requirements.
Account and billing records may need to be retained for longer periods where required by law or for legitimate business and legal purposes.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. Depending on the type of data and service involved, these measures include access controls, row-level database security, private file storage, time-limited access links, encryption in transit, authentication controls, logging and security monitoring.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal-data security incident, we will investigate and take the measures required by applicable law, including notifications where legally required.
11. Your Rights
Subject to the conditions and limitations established by applicable law, data subjects may have rights including access, rectification or updating, deletion/elimination, opposition, portability, suspension of processing and other rights recognized by Ecuadorian data-protection law.
If the information was submitted through an intake portal operated by a freelancer or agency, that customer may be the responsible party for the processing. In that situation, you may exercise your rights by contacting the customer that sent you the portal. You may also contact Creanomapps and we will determine the appropriate party and, where applicable, assist or forward the request.
Requests can be submitted through hello@myclint.app. We may need to verify identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the periods required by applicable law.
12. Children
MyClint is intended for business use and is not directed to children. Account holders must be at least 18 years old. MyClint customers should not intentionally use the service to collect personal data from children unless they have a lawful basis and the safeguards required by applicable law.
13. Cookies and Similar Technologies
MyClint may use essential cookies, local storage and similar technologies needed for authentication, security, session management and operation of the service. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies that require additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will update the relevant information and implement the required controls.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, legal obligations or data-processing practices change. We will publish the updated version on the MyClint website and, where appropriate, notify account holders of material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when the current version took effect.
